This morning I was talking about something I've seen a lot of lately: people mowing their lawns on riding mowers while holding babies! Seriously, I've seen at least two examples of this lately and I'm puzzled...is this really safe? I mean, you hear about crazy lawn mower incidents all the time and I'm just wondering why anyone would endanger the life of a child - a baby, no less! - by toting them around on a riding mower.

This morning on JACK's Big Breakfast we discussed an article that came from Australia, where the #1 song played at funerals "down under" is AC/DC's "Highway To Hell!" Boy, those Aussies sure have a sense of humor!

The practice of having a song to play at someone's funeral isn't new...in fact, I've planned for mine for quite some time, always calling it my "Death Song." Apparently, so have you! We had packed phone lines this morning from people who wanted to share their death songs. So many, in fact, I made your submissions the highlight of today's Eight Tracks.

Our friend Kerry Zavagnin called in to discuss the Wizards upcoming games and to preview my appearance in tonight's Media Game.

On Wednesday I was reading from a story in the paper that said a lot of workplaces were considering going to a four day work week. Today is Draft Day for the Wizards Media Game I am playing in Thursday night. Over the weekend Dave Borchardt, the Wizards media guy - and, I thought, my friend - e-mailed a mock draft for the Media game and it listed me as dead last. Thirtieth out of....well, 30.

The reason, as listed in the official e-mail:

Truta claims he played soccer for eight years when he was a child. But when he came to practice a few weeks ago he drilled Kerry Zavagnin in the face. Truta….that’s why you’re dead last.
