Day Two of waking up early and already it's started to become a chore... OK, so it's not that bad. After all, I did a morning show for 5 1/2 years before moving to an afternoon show and various management positions.
Except I haven't set an alarm for anything earlier than 7am in over three years! So right now I'm dying while my body clock resets itself and hopefully adjusts my sleep schedule accordingly.
By the way, thank you to everyone who has called to check-in and welcome me back to the sunrise shift! I appreciate all of your kind words and remind you that if you'd ever like to bring in breakfast, I won't complain! Haha...I'm kidding. Sort of.

We began a new feature today called JACK's 8 Tracks. Remember - we play what we want, so if we like your list we'll play it; if not, too bad! And when making your list keep in mind you're not bound by genre or style - JACK has the world's largest music library, so list away!

This Sunday night, February 10th at 6p, the Extreme Makeover: Home Editionthat was filmed in KCK back in November will air on KMBC Channel 9.
This afternoon I got a chance to talk to Daniel Gilyeat(right), the Marine and father of 4 who received a new house from Kevin Green Homes and ABC Television as part of the show.
We got to know Daniel back in November when we first covered the makeover as the official radio station on-site, and I can tell you he is a hero to a lot of people.
