On-Air: Monday - Friday 6 - 9a | E-mail: btruta@1051jackfm.com | Call: 576-7105

Monday, August 11, 2008

This week JACK's Big Breakfast will commemorate the final weeks of the Bodies Revealed exhibition at Union Station by giving away tickets to see the show and qualifying you for dinner at the Melting Pot, passes to Worlds of Fun, and airfare on Midwest Airlines.

In addition, we'll concentrate JACK's Eight Tracks on body-related themes.

JACK's Eight Tracks Monday, August 11th: Hands

1. Bon Jovi "Lay Your Hands On Me"
2. Alanis Morrisette "Hand In My Pocket"

6. Georgia Satellites "Keep Your Hands To Yourself"
7. Thompson Twins "Lay Your Hands On Me"

In Celebrity Crap news, JACK's Big Breakfast was stunned by the sudden passing of two stars; Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes both passed away this weekend. What we found strange was that both men just finished shooting a new movie called "Soul Men" that also stars Samuel L. Jackson.

Hmmm...if I were Samuel I'd lay low for a while!

On Friday, GM and the Kansas City Chevy Dealers invited Steve-O and myself out to the GM Fairfax Plant to check out production on the new Chevy Malibu and test drive a car for myself! Thank you to my awesome tour guide George who drove me around the plant because I - like an idiot - wore flip-flops to an auto plant!

Check out the VIDEO BLOG of my experience at GM Fairfax:
